We have settled into our new home in Simi Valley and enjoyed a mild, sunny Christmas at 70 degrees. It’s been nice to have Brandon around finally, and he is looking forward to patrolling the roads this month – watch out, L.A. drivers!


Disneyland is only an hour away, so we braved the crowds and had fun seeing it decked out for the holidays. Jaylen’s favorite ride was Pirates of the Caribbean, and she liked meeting Cruella De Ville on the park grounds.

We appreciate everyone who has helped us during this transition – thank you guys, for helping us load up that U-Haul! We miss our “old Ward” and think of you often. Since our families are still in Northern CA, we will be back to visit as often as we can this year. We wish all of you a Happy and Healthy New Year!
