A 70th Wedding Anniversary

The Jorgensen Family joined with relatives from near and far for a family reunion and 70th wedding anniversary celebration in Danville, CA, over Father's Day weekend. All the children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren of Richard and LaPriel Palmer (Angela' s maternal grandparents) were present, except for their first great-grandchild, Elder Jacob Jorgensen, who is currently serving a full-time mission in the Nevada Las Vegas West Mission. Elder Jorgensen was blessed in the Danville Ward the weekend of the Palmers 50th wedding anniversary party. Brother and Sister Palmer have 3 children, 13 grandchildren, and 22 great-grandchildren with 3 on the way. Jenna Jorgensen is great-grandchild #2, Sam Jorgensen is #5, and Sophie Jorgensen is #6. Brother and Sister Palmer are 92 years old and have set an example of living the gospel that has blessed the lives of every member of the family. All are active in the church and so grateful to know that families are forever!
