Relief Society Christmas Progressive Dinner 2008

Thank you to the Enrichment Committee and Brooke, Lisa and Carrie for hosting the Relief Society Christmas Progressive dinner. It was a beautiful night, full of friends, food and conversation.

It was fun hearing about everyone's traditions. Some that were mentioned:
  • Write Christmas letters to each child about their year from parents.
  • Make predictions for the upcoming year for yourself, each family member, the world.
  • Write a love letter to each other.
  • Read each other's patriarchal blessing on New Year's Eve.
  • Family sleepover under the Christmas tree.
  • Wrap Christmas books and open one each night to read.
  • Christmas Eve pajamas.
  • Hiding one present for each child to open at the end of the day on Christmas. Hide it in a new location each year.
  • Give each child three gifts to remember the three gifts from the Wise Men.

I'm sure I am forgetting something... if you remember any, or would like to share some family traditions - please make a comment.

Below are the pictures from the dinner. To see the pictures individually, click directly on the slide show and it will take you to the entire album.

Merry Christmas!
